An increasing number of companies are recognising the commercial benefits of handheld learning.

• A major bus company uses m-learning to distribute refresher courses to its HGV drivers.
• BSM (the British School of Motoring) uses m-learning as a way to teach and revise the Highway Code.
• Employees from industries such as cleaning and transport – who are often hard to reach – were delighted to participate in Skills for Life learning in a project funded by the European Social Fund.
