Children in primary schools are at a perfect age to grasp these new technologies. Primary teachers are already exploring the many exciting opportunities that m-learning offers, including:
- nature study – schools have used PDAs to collect pictures of items and create a ‘virtual’ nature table
- improved ICT skills, technical vocabulary and enhanced collaborative working (e.g. the Learning2Go project in Wolverhampton, which engaged whole classes of year 5 and 6 learners).
