Tribal has also continued to expand its international activity, having recently been appointed by the US Government to work on a large-scale mobile learning project as expert technical advisers and developers. Tribal will develop mobile learning applications for the MoLe (mobile learning) project, to be used by multi-national partners in disaster relief situations, helping to spread learning via mobile phones as part of stability operations. These applications will help distribute health education information for both aid workers and local people; this is the first time that this technology has been used in disaster relief efforts for educational purposes.
